What is Delete PDF Pages?

Remove unwanted pages from a PDF and save the remainder as a new PDF. Common uses: dropping a cover page to share just the body, removing ad pages from a report, or excluding sensitive pages before sharing. You can specify pages flexibly using commas and dashes.

How to use

  1. 1.Drag a PDF onto the drop zone, or click to select.
  2. 2.The total page count appears automatically.
  3. 3.Enter the pages to delete. Example: 2, 5, 7-9 (commas separate pages, dashes specify ranges).
  4. 4.As you type, a live preview shows 'X pages deleted / Y pages remaining'.
  5. 5.Click 'Delete' — a new PDF without those pages downloads.

Use cases

  • Drop the cover page and share only the body
  • Remove ad or notice pages from the middle of a document
  • Exclude appendix or reference pages from a report
  • Remove main content from an ebook to share just samples
  • Delete blank or misscanned pages from scans
  • Exclude sensitive pages before external sharing

Frequently asked questions

Q. Can I specify multiple pages and ranges at once?

Yes. Combine commas and dashes freely. For example, '2, 5, 7-9, 15' deletes pages 2, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 15. A live preview prevents mistakes.

Q. What if I enter an invalid page number?

Invalid input (e.g., a page number larger than the total, or a malformed value) shows a red warning and disables the Delete button — preventing accidental errors.

Q. Can I delete all pages?

No. The result must contain at least 1 page, so attempts to delete every page are blocked.

Q. Is text searchable after deletion?

Yes. Original PDF text is preserved.

Q. Are files uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens entirely in your browser.
